Archil Giorgadze

Archil Giorgadze advises clients on general corporate matters, local and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, complex commercial matters, foreign investments, project financing and regulation issues, as well as commercial arbitration. He is experienced in analyzing national laws and regulations, drafting contractual frameworks, and negotiating with potential investors and government authorities on public private partnerships..

In the 2018 and 2017 editions of Chambers Global and Chambers Europe, Mr. Giorgadze is recommended in the Georgia: General Business Law category and is noted for his visibility on M&A deals. He is described as “well experienced and always eager to help and solve problems.” Mr. Giorgadze is noted for his work in the Georgian legal market in The Legal 500 EMEA, 2017 and is cited as “responsive, attentive and professional” in The Legal 500 EMEA, 2016. He was recognized as a leading individual in Chambers Global, 2015, with the directory describing him as “very proficient” and “really devoted.” He is also ranked in Chambers Europe, 2015. He serves as an adjunct professor of law at Tbilisi Free University Law School and has been teaching there since 2011. He was elected as the best teacher by the class of 2014. Archil is also founder and academic co-director of the National Center of Business Law at Tbilisi Free University.

Prior to joining Amber Quinn LLP Office, Mr. Giorgadze was a national partner of global law firm Dechert LLP. He also managed the development of a hydropower plant project in Georgia as chief executive officer and acting chief lawyer of JSC Nenskra.
